Pat Hickcox is a retired Sergeant with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and a founding board member for the Arizona Tactical Officers Association. Pat served 8 years in the U.S. Army in many roles, including a combat deployment to Iraq from 2004 to 2005 as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant. Pat developed the course curriculum and has trained hundreds of law enforcement and government agency personnel on night vision devices. He is highly sought after and is the NOTA's subject matter expert and lead instructor on night vision. Pat is also the owner of Emerging Tactical Solutions.






Sergeant Major (r) Jamey Caldwell, spent 21 years in the U.S. Army, serving his entire career in Special Operations. SGM Caldwell served with the 75th Ranger Regiment and 14 years in a Special Missions Unit that maintained a high operational tempo. He has deployed to combat 14 times and has conducted well over 500 missions. SGM Caldwell has been awarded three medals for valorous actions while under direct enemy fire. He has been sought after for his leadership skills, planning, leading combat operations, teaching marksmanship skills and CQB, culminating from years of adaptive thinking in combat situations. Jamey is also the owner of 1 Minute Out.





Billy M. is a current SWAT Team member with more than 18 years of law enforcement experience that spans from the Northeast to Southwest areas of the United Sates. Billy has extensive education, training and experience in both ,military special operations and law enforcement special operations communities. As a current member of a large metropolitan SWAT Team , Billy is responsible for response and resolution of hostage/barricade situations, search warrant service, Billy has held the positions of (ATL) assistant team leader and team leader for Red Team snipers. Billy has provided training and developed lesson plans for academy, in service training and outside agencies, and has worked with the protective security details for current and former members of the United States government that include the POTUS,US Senate and US House of Representatives.




Chad E. is currently serving as a Police Officer with a major metropolitan agency in the Southwestern US. Currently assigned to his agency's Special Assignment Unit, Chad has extensive experience in Tactical operations to include high risk warrant service, barricade resolution, and open area operations. He is a former Infantry Marine, serving multiple tours in Iraq in the early 2000's. Chad is passionate about the use of night vision in law enforcement as a force multiplier that is often over looked and under used. He has instructed the night vision basic course both for the ATOA and NTOA.




Karl Duenzl retired from the NYPD after 25 years, over 18 of which were in the elite Emergency Service Unit (ESU). He has conducted numerous tactical missions including over 1800 high risk warrants, countless dignitary protection details and finished his career as an instructor for ESU Specialized Training School. He additionally served as one of the ESU Tactical Paramedics and as a Rescue Specialist on the NY Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 1 (FEMA NYTF-1). Karl has also been a low-light firearms/tactics instructor for the Surefire Institute since 2005.
